* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations 6 to
10 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high
as 35 mph will produce blowing and drifting snow in open areas.

* WHERE...Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and far Southern Erie Counties.
The greatest accumulations will be across the higher terrain
inland from Lake Erie and well south of the Buffalo Southtowns.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult with snow covered roads and
poor visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday
morning and evening commutes.

Heavy snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If traveling, be
prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.
